British and Red Tractor
Provenance is an integral part of our business, so we support British farming wherever possible and are proud to have built long-term relationships with our dedicated growers. We don’t buy from markets; enabling us to offer both full traceability and a short network from field to fork.

Supporting British agriculture
Our expert team along with our great growers have a real passion for produce, and our ‘Meet the Grower’ features highlight how they work tirelessly to ensure our customers receive the freshest, most flavoursome produce in season.
We make it easy for our customers to select British by highlighting the seasonal dates in our lists. Our seasonality calendars are an invaluable tool for planning menus around the British seasons. Visit the seasonal selection of the website for our guide to the best of seasonal British produce.
Red Tractor
We were the first national fresh produce foodservice supplier to launch Red Tractor; an accreditation that reflects our values of traceability and dedication to food safety. Our range continues to grow and we now offer more than 130 Red Tractor accredited products. Each accredited product is labelled with the Red Tractor marque.
The Red Tractor logo identifies quality British produce that has been grown to strict standards and can only be applied to produce grown in the UK. Red Tractor is managed by an independent, not-for-profit organisation that works alongside industry experts and UK growers to maintain and improve food production standards.
