About our Brazilian melons

The climate in Brazil is ideal for growing fantastic quality melons, we mainly source from this origin during the winter months. The welfare of the workers is vitally important to our supplier and as a result, they have a strong set of values based around integrity, respect, opportunity and responsibility.

All workers are encouraged to progress and develop and plans include the creation of adult education classes. Environmental responsibility is high on their agenda, they recycle waste products and are currently creating a wildlife area to help preserve the presence of wildlife and plants. Bees are introduced to the farms to encourage natural pollination of the plants.
